Beef & Garlic Festival, Takko Town

Sept 2007 - The last weekend in September, we drove about an hour and a half to Takko Town, which hosts the Beef and Garlic Festival every year. They grow more garlic there than any area in Japan. They also have sister-city bonds with garlic producing regions in America, Italy, and Korea. There were a lot of food booths, featuring garlic of course. There was also some entertainment, like the singers and Japanese Country dancers pictured below.
