Well, it's been quite a while since I've posted something, but here it is finally! We've been really busy lately. We spent a week in Hawaii before Greg left for his deployment, and had a wonderful time. Greg's parents met us there, and then flew back to Dallas with Ashley and me, which was a huge help! Right now, Ashley and I are staying at my grandmother's house in Vernon, TX, and will be heading up to Spokane, WA, at the end of this month to spend some time with my sister and her family. So, I'll try to post things as often as possible, but with limited computer access, they will be sporadic. Here are some of the pictures from our vacation.
A view of Honolulu from a scenic look-out point.
Another pretty waterfall...
The Parrot that made Ashley cry.
Hawaiian Penguins! (you didn't know there were Penguins in Hawaii, did you?!)
Our rental and a wild chicken.
We went to a Luau at Paradise Cove, and it was so beautiful! It lasted about 4 hours, and we had a great time.

The beautiful sunset at the Luau.
Ashley got a hairband made from some sort of a leaf that was braided with flowers in it. It was so cute! She had a blast.
One of the many times we went out to eat. The food was expensive, but really good pretty much everywhere that we ate.
We went to the Honolulu Zoo and the Aquarium one day, and Ashley had so much fun that day. She loved looking at the animals, and she really liked the fish at the Aquarium. These trees are all over Hawaii, but this picture was taken at the zoo. They have roots coming down from the branches. Very strange looking, but pretty at the same time.
Ashley and Greg at the zoo.
